The first stop on our vacation was Laguna Beach. The drive through the hills of Laguna to reach the beach was incredibly beautiful! The hills were deep green, there weren't any subdivisions, the traffic was light, and the "freeway" was just a two lane road! The beach wasn't crowded and we all had a great time soaking in some sun and playing in the COLD water! Here are a few picts:

I LOVE that shot of Rachel! I'm kicking myself that I didn't go down to the tide pools with all the rest of them. Plus I'm totally impressed that you got a shot of them coming down Splash Mountain...how'd you pull that off?
The morning they rode splash mountain, there weren't many people wanting to get wet, so I just stood there and watched people come down and snapped away -- the ride pauses for a second anyway before it goes down the hill, enough time to focus and snap! Mark was the photographer for Rachel's picture -- he done good, didnt' he?!
