jared's scout camp

Jared had an awesome time at scout camp in July. I sent the camera with him for the week so he could take a few pictures. Here are a few highlights. This is Frontier Lake. Self-taken portrait, with those fabulous pine trees in the background.
Jared's most memorable and fun activity at camp was rapelling and climbing. He's all geared up to go.
The climbing wall, ready to be conquered.
Rapelling down the other side and coming down for a landing.

Our Bishop came up for an evening and was simply walking along one of the well-worn trails and ended up with this stick in his shoe -- went straight into his foot! (He was not badly injured, just poked!)
The troop job chart. Our scoutmaster is one organized guy.
What's camp without a watermelon eating and seed-spitting contest?
The three musketeers (Jared, Jason, & Caleb) tent and home-sweet-home for a week. Looks like Jared had the black bag on the right.
Jared totally loved his camp experience -- the friends, the scout leaders, the activities, and Dad visiting for a day and night!
