i survived
I survived today! I feel like my talk went OK. My subject was compassion, so if I did a good job on the talk then everyone should be compassionate about my musical number...right?! Anyway, I played "O Divine Redeemer" and the page I worried most about went pretty well -- better than last time anyway! However, there were other mistakes -- ones that I usually never mess up and so I just had to wonder, where the heck did that come from? Must have been the nerves taking over my fingers. So glad to have both of these over!

Good job on the talk and the piano. I know exactly how you feel about playing. I am much better, but there was a time that playing at church would almost give me an anxiety attack! I'm sure you noticed the mistakes more than anyone else.
