I'm developing a new pet peeve(s): people who don't return calls & answering machines/voice mail that never get listened to by the owner(s). GRRRRR!
Jacob has his first ever long awaited and much anticipated baseball practice tonight.
I have to talk in sacrament meeting on Sunday and play a piano solo for RS. I shouldn't be blogging, I should be preparing. The last time I played this piano solo for church was when I was in high school and I messed up royally -- the last page is all runs and my fingers just didn't/don't hit the right keys sometimes. One wrong note and the whole measure is off! A bad experience I don't relish to repeat. PRAY FOR ME.

If I were you I would not listen to any phone messages from any member of the bishopric. Speaking and piano problem solved....
One of the rules I have learned about performing music is that if you hit a wrong note, hit it 2 or 3 times in a row so people think you meant to do it. It works pretty well for punk rock music. Not sure how well that would go over in church though...
