technical difficulties

So a couple weeks ago, our computer fried. We had switched off the electricity to replace a fire alarm, and when we came down to the computer later in the day, it was dead. Lucky for us, David happened to be here on vacation and came to our rescue, managing to get our files and pictures saved onto our external drive and a new computer ordered. When we finally got our new computer and hooked things back up, we realized something was amiss with our internet connection. After a lot of trying this and that and the other we ended up with a new modem. Maybe the old one got cooked at the same time as the computer. Who knows. Anyhow, things seem to be working swell now, so I'll definitely have to do some posting soon! We're just glad to be back online and not having to visit the library to check e-mail and do homework!
