hawaii - mt. tantalus and punchbowl

After visiting Pearl Harbor, we grabbed some lunch and did some more exploring while we were in the area.  We drove up to Mt. Tantalus, a crazy steep, winding road that leads to a great viewpoint of the city of Honolulu!
A look out over Honolulu and Diamond Head.
 Love this family picture!
We took another crazy steep road to visit Punchbowl Cemetery.
There are thousands of names listed on the walls of this memorial of those who served and died in WWI, Korea, and Vietnam.  Many of those servicemen are buried here.  It is a very beautiful and peaceful cemetery.
