We spent a few days at my parents house this summer. My sisters and I spent a good amount of time getting quilts done for my nephews' weddings and the kids had a great time playing with their cousins Spencer and Klaire, helping grandpa, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, checking out Uncle Johns greenhouses, stream fishing (and getting stuck in the mud), and exploring the farm. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold, so they spent a lot of time outside. Away from video games. Away from TV. Gotta love that! Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, but Mark brought it with him when he joined us a couple days later. Matthew was enthralled with the tractor and it was the highlight of the vacation for him. We all enjoyed a turn on the 4-wheeler, even though Jared wasn't happy about not being allowed to go it alone. Maybe next time, kiddo! A few days in Idaho was time well spent!
