easter

It's definitely a tradition to color eggs for Easter!
I got all "fancy" this year and bought some funny stickers to put on a few of the eggs.  Loved how they turned out!
We had an egg hunt at G&G Vawdrey's house with cousin Will. Matthew is ready to hunt!
There's always an egg hidden in the clothes line!
Jared grabbed the egg on the other end of the clothes line.
Ryan and Jacob were good sports and helped Will locate a few eggs.

Matthew checking out his egg cache.  He got lots of candy!
On Easter morning, Matthew was the first one awake to see what the Easter Bunny had put into his basket.  He found some good stuff -- candy, toys, and a new swimsuit.
Jared found candy, swim goggles, and board shorts.
Jacob was a bit grumpy when he woke up, so hopefully the Easter candy will sweeten him up later today! He also got a new swimsuit.
Ryan got showered and ready for church before finding his prizes -- candy, a new swimsuit, and boardshorts. I think the Easter bunny knew the boys needed some new swim gear for our upcoming family vacation!
And just for fun, a "selfie", of Mark and I.
I love being able to go to church on Easter Sunday.  It really helps all of us remember the true meaning of Easter -- the celebration of the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I know our Savior lives -- I'm so grateful!

After church we had an egg hunt here in our yard.  90% of the eggs contained money -- this is a picture of Jacob biting a coin to make sure its the real thing!  Happy Easter!
