impromptu reservoir outing

A rare free Friday evening for both families popped up and we found ourselves heading out to a little reservoir near Herriman to meet the cousins for some water time.  By the time we got there, the weather had become windy and cool.  The kids didn't let that deter them however.  Ryan & Ethan jumped into the raft and attempted to row across.  Jacob & Rachel waded out and got busy squirting each other.

 Jared, Katie, and Matthew preferred the warmer choice of the sandy beach and got started with a duel.

 And what beach outing isn't complete without burying someone in the sand?

After about an hour we packed up and headed over to Al & Heidi's for tube steaks and cousin bonding.  A good Friday night had by all!
