For our last evening in New Jersey, David put together some tin foil dinners and we headed to a park alongside the Hudson River. While David cooked, we explored the "beach". The kids loved finding "seaglass" and rocks to throw into the river.
Jared decided to relax on the rocks, but couldn't avoid my camera for one quick shot!
Across the water is Manhattan.
This is the George Washington Bridge. It is amazing. There are two highways on the bridge -- an upper and a lower. Each highway has 6 lanes of traffic (if I remember right), 3 in each direction. The bridge connects New Jersey and New York.
Here's the quick self-taken photo to prove that Mark & I were on this vacation!
The George Washington Bridge at night. I think its so beautiful!
The tin foil dinners turned out perfect and we topped them off with s'mores roasted over the hot coals. Yum! What a great vacation -- thanks New Jersey Vawdrey's!
